 Limewire deed het altijd goed en nu ineens..... Problemen die zomaar uit het niets onstaan hebben meestal te maken met het bewaren van de instellingen door limewire. Als Limewire de laatste veranderingen niet goed kan wegschrijven na afsluiten omdat bijvoorbeeld de stroom was uitgevallen of er problemen zijn met je harde schijf door fragmentatie of een virus of spyware programma dan kunnen er problemen ontstaan. Om dit probleem te verhelpen doe je het volgende : Zorg dat limewire uitstaat en verwijder de .limewire (punt limewire) map. Die staat onder C:\Documents and Settings\"je account naam"\.limewire LET OP Je bent dan wel al je instellingen en gedeeltelijke downloads kwijt. Start daarna Limewire, loop alle instellingen opnieuw door en als het goed is werkt het dan weer. Last edited by RaaF; May 25th, 2006 at 02:11 AM.  |

 ?? En wat als het nog steeds niet werkt??? Ik heb .limewire verwijderd (van alle profielen). Limewire maakt geen verbinding en zegt dat er een firewall actief is. Ik heb windows firewall, en bij uitzonderingen staat netjes Limewire ook aangevinkt. Ik heb ook nog naar de poort gekeken. 6346. NOg keer apart poort open gezet voor Limewire, helpt ook niet. Zelfs niet als ik Firewall helemaal uitschakel. Ik heb speedtouch modem. Maar zie niet hoe ik hier bij kan komen (instellingen), misschien daar wat in?? Eerder deed ie het altijd, en nu kan ik doen wat ik wil..... Wie weet wat? BVD Betty |

| Ik heb Limewire Pro gekocht en geinstalleerd. Na de zoekopdracht knippert wel de verbindingsstekker doch er komen geen bestanden te voorschijn. Als ik bv. Hazes als artiest ingeef en op zoeken klik, wordt er een tijdje gezocht maar er verschijnt geen lijst. De eerste keer na installatie ging het wel goed. Daarna niet meer. Wat doe ik fout???? |

| Ik kocht net LimeWirePro en krijg eveneens de melding dat er een firewall gevonden werd waardoor de zoekopdracht geen resultaten geeft. Ik gebruik Windows NT en heb AVG Free op mijn pc geïnstalleerd. Ik heb het advies van RaaF opgevolgd maar ook ik vind geen .limewire map in mijn Documents en Settings terug. Wie kan me helpen? |

| ik kreeg ook een firewall alhoewel ik zeker wist dat mijn poorten open waren....een verandering van cable naar t1 maakte dat mijn firewall verdween..heel vreemd maar waar. maar dit was met linux en niet met windows ... |

| Krijg geen verbinding in LimeWire. Zegt steeds "verbinding maken". Heb reeds update gedaan van Java. Firewall is aangepast. LimeWire is ook opnieuw geinstalleerd. Wat kan er nog fout zijn? |

| De verbinding is uiteindelijk gelukt. Ik heb eerst alles van LimeWire van de PC verwijderd. Eerst uninstall. Dan bij configuratiescherm>software>LimeWire verwijderen. Dan alles wat de pc gevonden heeft met "zoeken". Dan pc opnieuw opstarten. Dan LimeWire opnieuw installeren. Het kan zijn dat ge bij Bestand eerst Verbinding verbreken moet doen en dan opnieuw Verbinden. Bij het verwijderen van LimeWire gaf de pc soms de melding dat sommige gegevens niet konden verwijderd worden wegens andere gebruikers. Ik heb dit kunnen oplossen door de pc dan opnieuw op te starten. Hopelijk gaat het bij jullie nu ook. |

| bij mij werkt het nog steeds niet... ik had eerder versie 4.12.nog wat, toen ie het opeens niet meer deed. firewalls gecheckt, luisterpoorten etc. niets. toen maar uninstall, alles verwijderd met zoeken, opnieuw opgestart, limewire 4.18.8 gedownload en geinstalleerd, maar geen verbinding. blokjes rechtsonderin blijven steken op 1 blokje. Zelfs firewall helemaal uitgeschakeld, nog geen verbinding? Heb dit al een keer of tien herhaald, maar word er nu een beetje ongelukkig van. Ares is echt zoveel minder dan limewire. Iemand nog suggesties? Ik heb Vista met Norton als anti-vir. hopende op een snelle reactie (HELP HELP  ))groetjes Loessie |

| Door de jaren heen, steeds hetzelfde probleem...Ik dacht hier een oplossing te vinden en heb me door de registratieprocedure van het forum heen geworsteld. Om tot de conclusie te komen, dat het foutje in het programma Limewirepro moet zitten en niet in onze instellingen. Limewire plus werkt prima; Frostwire doet het evenals diverse torrent downloaders...alleen LimewirePro, notabene een koopprogramma wil geen verbinding maken. Het ligt niet aan de firewall instellingen, want limewire heeft vrije doorgang. Herinstallatie heb ik al gedaan. Probleem is niet opgelost. Ik verwacht er niet zoveel meer van; maar het zou leuk zijn als hier een oplossing voor komt. v.g. |
