These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum. These off-topic posts may impede the normal operation of the forum. Edit posts. Moderators will edit posts that are offensive or break any of the House Rules. Delete posts.  User Chatroom feature I really would like it if limewire had chatrooms,I think it would help biuld a stronger bond within the community. Also it would really help with find files, like if someone had the file and they just didn't have it available for sharing. I don't know just a stupid thought of mine I felt I sould share. I'm not sure that a chat would be too useful... one could go with one of those IRC thingy madoodles built right into ol limewire... also, i suppose you could have a pluggin for other instant messengers... like, MSN, Trillian, or Mirranda IRC would probably be easier and more...erm... betterer?  still... if some one is going to share a file with you, you'll prolly get it... eventually if not immediatly... and if you have a friend that you want to DL a file from you can simply do a dirrect connect as explained in this post Question ... of course! :)  rock on, eh |

| Thanks for the heads up Thommi, the problem is...no one wants to chat and when you do finally get someone who can answer your question, they are rude. I've had responds like...."What you want?" or Hurry, I don't got all day!" Like please you have nothing better to do that DL and squeeze your zits.. Learn english and how to make friend and influence people

| i agree with both silk and thommi about the chat. if i'm downloading from someones list and it's all good stuff, i'll send them a message letting them know they have an awesome list or whatever i dont always get a reply but sometimes a thankyou and thats it. Dont turn chat on if your not going to use it. In 2 years i have only had one conversation, i'm in Adelaide and i spoke to a guy in germany for over an hour while we downloaded from each other,thats how it should always be, hope to chat to you guys one day. | instant messages to a p2p buddy will be possible in the next version, thoug we have to see if it is implemented. The question is not to transfer messages. The question is to find the buddy in a new session. Therefor a dht is needed and a GUID, which is rememberabkle ike an icq number. |

| Anfield I'll chat with you anytime. And I make sure that my files are clean, what they say they are, intact, virus scanned and anatomically correct  I don't know how many times I've waisted DL something that is corrupt, has a virus, or is not what it says it it. And the sharer has to be aware of this. If I wanted a trailer or porn I would specify this when I DL'ed it. So to those hemorrhoids out there that think this is cute...I make sure that no one has to go through this cause I keep cleaning your poop up like your mommy probably still has to. So none of my sharers have to get your junk. Sorry...Minapause is worse than PMS...be afraid..be very afraid...

| But guys...still be cautious. There are predators out there ready to get some proof as to who you are and what they can confiscate. Don't tell your real name and know who your friends are. There is much to loose. And if you are fortunate enough to have a business. They can confiscate your computers, files and get you a record. Be cautious, my brother is an attorney and keeps warning me as to how much I have to loose. (I own three companies) But then...he get's his kicks jumping out of planes. There's more than one way to get your adrenalin going. These record, video copywriter people don't realize that they are aiding you guys in that you stay home in front of your computer instead of gang banging or mugging or taking drugs. 'Cause God knows you can't DL if you are high. You have to have all your faculties to DL...am I right? Oh!! wrong forum..Sorry guys..yes a chat thingy would be just great. :P
