The whole John Mark Karr issue got me very annoyed at the idea of pedophile images floating freely around the internet. I got curious to see just how easy it was to get a hold of some of these pictures. I typed "pedo" into the limewire image search and it came up with about 70 results. I didn't click them obviously, but I find it disgusting that the search does nto automatically filter out such search results and keywords. I have also heard stories of people searching for adult entertainment and instead accidently downloading child porn which has been disguised with a misleading file name.
I respect that you'd want to keep the limewire as 'free access' as much as possible, but I really think that searches like the one above and other related searches and file names be filtered from the search and reported if possible.

I don't think they'll be implementing that. While you'd think it'd work at first, it wouldn't because people would just reinvent slang continuously (or use different spellings) to do so.

Obviously this would only be known by a smaller group up to date on the slang. It would prevent people not in the know from searching. However, this would also make it harder for police not in the know to search for it and find it and bring the person who possess the media in for questioning.

I wonder why it's illegal anyway, since watching something doesn't actually do anything to anyone, the problem is the things that have already been done. The vids are evidence we could use to stop it.
