 Prefer Old Limewire Versions to 4.16.6 I just want to say that I prefer the old Limewires to the 4.16.6 version. Personally... I really wish I could get rid of it and go back to the previous ones... this new one isn't fast at all. I used to like it but now I can barely get songs without it saying "need more sources" or "21 hosts tried". Plus, the new layout sucks   |

 Google download Limewire Filehippo They have all the older Limewire versions and the Downloads aren't tainted in any way

| Another thing about 4.16.6 is that it limits the amount of non-limewire clients that can connect to it as a Ultrapeer to 3 leaf and UP's, so that means less search results from clients like shareaza that have their different files on their networks, including a trickle of files from edonkey as well as Gnutella2 (M.P.) Basically dividing up the networks in terms of files... leading to less diversity in terms of files... Boounrs! |

| i agree with all of you. downloaded 4.16 and lost all my library. have spent days trying to transfer my songs from my documents to lw library with no success. i spent the entire winter putting that library together. is there any help available........jerry |
