Lightbulb Usenet capabilities in Limewire

Does anybody else think that NNTP support in limewire would be a killer idea? I'm surprised that nobody else seems to be thinking about this as a possibility .

I mean, Newsbin and its ilk are all fine, but surely the unification of usenet and gnutella with basic binary support in limewire wouldn't be a bad thing?

Anybody got any thoughts on this?

Yes, lets put some other crap into it. Maybe we can make it pass the 200MB mark or even 300MB when it comes to RAM usage. If we do it perfect then a constant 100% CPU would be a great bonus.

Limewire 4.12.3 / Newest Phex / Newest Azureus

I recommend using either an old Limewire version without BitTorrent support or Phex for Gnutella, Azureus is BitTorrent. None of this Limewire Gnutellatorrent hybrid crap.

Troll much, lol?

Newsbin doesn't do either of those things, AND its badly written. It was a perfectly pheasible suggestion

I take myself the right to troll when people suggest to the ever failing Limewire crew to even think about including something new after that halfassed attempt to integrate BitTorrent.

The sites I'm on even ban it for not being a real BitTorrent client. Takes quite a bit of work to get a label like that.

There are already lots of Usenet programs available, no need for bloatitus. Limewire needs more work in its core functionality rather than more fluff.
