| When search results yield the name of a song preceded by a number without the name of the artist, how is one supposed to know the name of the artist? In LimeWire, you can put your mouse over the song, and it will give you more details but that does not work with my version of Phex.

| Phex doesn't yet support Metadata readout, so at the moment, you sadly can't get that info. I myself just download the songs and check them afterwards. After all, if a song with the title in the name gets returned, but you searched for the artist or album, chances are high that the song is located inside a folder which contains the artists name. In Gnutella results are returned, if the name of a file contains (parts of) the search-phrase, or (in the case that the whole folder is shared) the name of the folder contains (parts of) the search-phrase, and if both folders and filename (and when metadata is calculated, also metadata) together contain all keywords of the search-phrase.

| Thank you. I supposed that you cannot can search by artist when you browse someone's files either. Is that correct?

| That's correct, yes. Metadata is in our plans, but it will take some time to complete other features, first. Since you seem to feel that it is important, we'd be glad, if you could have a look at our small user questionaire (only 2 questions) and tell us, which of the features there would be most important for you: - http://phex.org (right sidebar).
