Issues with Limewire Limewire is sharing files despite the fact that their extension does not exist in the sharing extension list. Limwire is also sharing files from the incomplete folder. Also, not a good thing. |
The new version only allows you to choose the max # of connection (not incoming and outgoing). Well, all I have is incoming. I have to keep removing them and letting limewire find new hosts, but eventually I end up with all incoming again. http://forums.gnutelliums.com/frown.gif When will we see smart download download the same file from multiple hosts to increase speed? |
Has anyone else had as many problems as I with 1.3? I guess Ill have to wait for 1.4 before trying limewire again http://forums.gnutelliums.com/frown.gif If you are using 1.2 dont upgrade! |
It's working very nicely for me... If you want the older version I still have the installer on my system... e-mail me @ ________________________________________ Edited to comply with the House Rules. Do not divulge anyone's personal information in the forum, not even your own. if you want it... I can set you up to get it via FTP.... |
I also THOUGHT that the incompltete file was being shared, the write up says its displayed in the shared lib, but IS NOT shared. Looks like the caughts us not reading the write up. Read:http://www.limewire.com/download/features.htm Incomeing or outgoing connections are handled the same, its just who started it. It doesn't make ANY difference you are still getting connected http://forums.gnutelliums.com/smile.gif Walt |
No, ppl were downloading them from me, as well as other files I had specificaly unshared by removing their shared extensions. I am having much better success with Bearshare right now than I have ever had with any other gnutella clone, so... |
