These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum. These off-topic posts may impede the normal operation of the forum. Edit posts. Moderators will edit posts that are offensive or break any of the House Rules. Delete posts. If you see a post in the wrong forum or in violation of the House Rules, please contact a moderator via Private Message or the "Report this post to a moderator" link at the bottom of every post. Please do not respond directly to the member - a moderator will do what is required. 8. Any impersonation of a forum member in any mode of communication is strictly prohibited and will result in banning. 9. Multiple copies of the same post will not be tolerated. Post your question, comment, or complaint only once. There is no need to express yourself more than once. Duplicate posts will be deleted with little or no warning. 10. Posts should have descriptive subjects. Vague titles such as "Help!", "Why?", and the like may not get enough attention to the contents. 11. Do not divulge anyone's personal information in the forum, not even your own. This includes e-mail addresses, IP addresses, age, house address, and any other distinguishing information. Don´t use eMail addresses in your nick. 12. Signatures may be used as long as they are not offensive or sexually explicit. 13. Failure to show that you have read the forum rules may result in forum rules breach infraction points or warnings awarded against you which may later total up to an automatic temporary or permanent ban.  Please edit out your post (see http://www.gnutellaforums.com/announ...?s=&forumid=29 ). You cannot mention these things on this website! Your problem sounds as though it's a codec issue. You'll need to obtain xtra codecs for Winamp. I'd tell you which ones & where to get them after you edit your post. |

| Press the edit button 2nd from the right, above the post reply button, & edit out the name of the movie. If everybody put in names of what they're dwnlding, this websie would be closed down quicksmart. |

| Firstly get GSpot.. it's free and it will tell you what you need to play a certain file.. just open the file in GSpot and it will tell you. I thought I had another reference as well, but I seem to have temporarily misplaced it, dash it. If you still have problems after trying out GSpot, get back to this thread. Actually I think RaaF knows the answer if he is still around. |

| You better not open video files from within Limewire. Go to your shared folder and open the file from there. A good player that will open allmost any video file without the need for codecs is : http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ |

| I thought you said yopu'd already dwnlded it. Sure, with gspot you must already have the file dwnlded. Yeah I do have better things to do too! Full-band video processing, graphics & animation. A small thanks for my time & effort would go a long way. Sorry I can't find the other ref. If you can't launch a partially dwnlded movie properly, then that's probably how it is. |
