How do you burn your songs onto a cd? It says to click on your files well i don't know where to do that on my cd burner program so if somebody can help me real soon that would be good!!!

I think a very good description is given by RaaF in the Sticky at the top of this Open Disc. section. Click on Open Discussion above & have a look at the list (or press the go button below left.) Basically, open cd burner, select audio & drag & drop your songs to its interface. You can access them from LW's Library window & select Saved Files & press Explore button. bingo! ;)

I'm sure this is a simpleton question...but how do I burn a cd once I've downloaded my songs...I can't seem to interface nero or window media's burn/rip features with anything I've downloaded from limewire. Help a newbie out....please.

i am a new user of lime wire. i have downloaded some tracks which i wish to burn to disc but don't no how to move or save the tracks to where i want to burn them from....can any one help

Easy to find. Just go to LW's Library window & select the Saved Files folder, & then press the Explore button. This will open the folder up for you. Then you can drag & drop the files to your burner program. More hints here: Burning an audio CD from your MP3's (click on link) Beaten to the button once again! Slow hands in the 'west' nowadays. Murasame would probably beat me at a computer game also. lol :D

With one hand? I don't think so (I'm going to the doc to take this damn thing offa my hand in two weeks time. I'll be looking forward to a friendly game of online Tetris then :D)

Thanks for the info. regarding burning to cd, however, my library tab located under navigation is not highlighted. Therefore, I still can't seem to interface what I have downloaded from LW with Nero. I simply can't do anything more than download to LW and preview the song....what is the deal. Certainly it can't be this difficult, I feel like I'm missing something extremely obvious.
Please help. Frustrated and feeling like a sucker. Thanks in advance for any Help.

In the link LOTR and I both specified, RaaF says that you should go to C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared
, so you don't really need to go through the Library tab and such.
If however you have changed the default saving location, then go to Tools->Options and the Saving, then use your browser to go to the location specified there. Do your stuff with Nero from there.

Thanks for the help really...but it is simply not working. If you have the patience to give me a little more advice perhaps I resolve this problem. I have tried every search, under every recent download and file created recently...I't simply is not putting my songs anywere. Should I reinstall? Try another service? I'm no webmaster, but I'd like to think I can handle something as simple as this should be! I feel like the slow kid in school right now. I download the songs, goto tools, saving, have checked all directories there and on my windows search...and nothing! Ready to put my head through a wall maybe that will work! Please give me one more chance then I vanish into ignorance oblivion. Thanks.

How about using the windows search ?
Just search for a file that is downloaded by Limewire.
Or download the latest LimeWire and on the options screen : Tools>options>saving and click on "use default" button.
Then your downloads will go to C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared

Roxio easy cd & dvd creator. My favourite on windows. Though I use a mac & use roxio Toast. Roxio has just been taken over did you know. They'll still do the same plus some more things to offer. You posted in the Bearshare forums which is a different program so I've moved your post to the LW forums. ALso if you had have been in the right forum you would have seen the sticky by RaaF which tells how to burn a cd. Have a look! ;) :)

I am clueless when it comes to computers, I used to have an external CD burner that was ok, but I had a computer guy who'd clue me into things, now I've moved and he's not around and my new computer has an internal CD burner. I have no idea how to use it. I download from Lime Wire but don't know how to get it to CD, can anyone help?

No different to any other version of LW. LimeWire (LW) itself cannot burn CD's. It's just a p2p share program. You'll need a cd burner, a burner program & a blank cd-r disk.

you need a cd burning software...
try getting nero from download.com
