Please do not ask for e-mail replies to posts. You are unlikely to get them Firstly it is useful for others to see the replies. Secondly it is a rule of the forums that personal information including your own be not given out. That includes e-mail addresses. If you want E-mail notification that you have a reply to your post in the forums, ensure that the e-mail Notification box below the message window is checked.

I have seen 3 or posts recently with people asking for replies to be sent by E-mail A few newbies will read them and think they can ask for personal replies too and before long the forums will be running a personal answering service. Just trying to nip this thing in the bud. And if answers start getting sent by e-mail the answerers e-mails addresses will be out there and we certainly don't want that. All the best for now.

It's very understandable not to give out your e-mail. With my luck, I would probably have some lunatic constantly e-mailing me crap! Not to mention the LimeWire Forum would probably end up turning into one of the other message boards that I went on to and believe me, no one would want that!!

Guys I have weird newbies PM-ing me "Help Me", "I want to be your friend" and other nonsense like that, I just delete them. And there is no way I would give out my email to a wierdo newbie. UK Bob

I, personally would not want everyone to know my e-mail address. I don't know why people are always posting them in the forum. It would be best if they just came back to check the thread they made the next day or later, imo.

Hey I know this is off the topic, but do you (or anybody) know of an option Limewire (may) have requiring a username and password to log in and then a log out option as well? Think it would be great if you have kids especially. Thanks.
