These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum.  getting limewire to rcognise emailaddress. I have recently purchased LIMEWIRE PRO. However I know have the difuculyt I cannot access to report any difficulties or anything else as THEY WILL NOT RECOGNISE MY E MAIL ADDRESS. Not anyof them and it is the address they sent my confirmation to Do that have they any means of contact other than phoning the states.:mad:  |

| Ok I don't know what Limshare is. This forum is for Limewire and if you have recieved a comfirmation E-mail from LIMEWIRE it gives you a link to your personal download page which does not require your E-mail address. SO How much did you pay for this and exactly what site did you pay.

| I thought It was very clear apart from the typo of limshare. If you have tried to access anything on LIMEWIRE you will see it requires you to enter email address. IF they will no recognise it you are stuffed. I can access the download site off my desktop. I cannot however access anything requiring my email address. Maybe best to say subject closed and I will phone US. |

| If you would tell us exactly what your problem is we will hopefully be able to help you. I can assure you that it is easier to get help from this forum than it is to get help from Limewire who are not geared up to answer large numbers of telephone enquiries I have no idea even what their phone number is. So please. Tell us clearly what the problem is and we will do our best to help. Just to say you cannoct contact Limewire doesn't really help, the main point being that, as you have realized, only registered Limewire-pro users can actually get help in the normal course of events. If you could start by telling us when you purchased pro, and how much you paid for it, and exactly what has happened or not happened since then to give you trouble. Please believe me, this is the best thing to do.

| New subscriber to this forum. I, too, paid for lifetime subcription to Limewire Pro. Paid over $50.00 (Cdn). Had initial access on my old PC. Since purchasing new computer have not bothered with Limewire using ITunes instead. In attempting access to Limewire today my email address is not being recognized and, of course, no way to contact Limewire directly. Any advise. Feeling a little ripped off. |

| There's no 'lifetime subscription' from the official site  It sounds as though you bought Pro from a scam site. The only official site is Lime Wire » Official Website & Free Download, BitTorrent «Pro costs $24.95 for 6 months of updates & email support, or $34.95 for a year's worth. Unless you bought from the official site & paid LimewireLLC, your email address won't ever be in the database. Membership? - **WARNING ** BEWARE** - Download p2p Clients ONLY Thru Official Sites If you bought Pro very recently, contact your bank/CC company...it may still be possible to get your money back. get your $$$ BACK!!!(music members)

| I think I too was ripped off yes I paid a total of 56.88 USD on july 31,2007 at 9:13:33am for what they called a lifetime full & unlimited access for 39 $ USD Download protection for a tootal of 17.88 $ the charge will appear on my credit card as didassist.com what happen was It or limewire pro worked for a good month then I had to reload my windows when I try to give limewire my e-mail address they replyed they( limewire ) had no such address? but how was I able to got limewire pro for if this was not the true limewire? | Yes you were ripped off - you were scammed. LW Pro costs $24.95 for 6 months worth of free updates & email support, $34.95 for a year's worth of updates & email support. The official site offers no 'lifetime' deals or 'download protection'. If you'd purchased from the official site, LimewireLLC would appear next to the charge on your credit card statement. Since you didn't buy from the official site, your email address would never have been in the database...you're not eligible for official Pro support. Frequently Asked Questions - LimeWire You might've been directed to the official site for download. As long as one person from the scam site buys an official Pro, the scammers can then sell as many 'memberships' as they like & provide their victims with a link to download Pro.
