These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum. These off-topic posts may impede the normal operation of the forum. Edit posts. Moderators will edit posts that are offensive or break any of the House Rules. Delete posts. There are specific Gnutella Client sections for LimeWire, Phex, FrostWire, BearShare, Gnucleus, Morpheus, and many more. Please choose the correct section for your problem. 7. If you see a post in the wrong forum or in violation of the House Rules, please contact a moderator via Private Message or the "Report this post to a moderator" link at the bottom of every post. Please do not respond directly to the member - a moderator will do what is required. 8. Any impersonation of a forum member in any mode of communication is strictly prohibited and will result in banning. 9. Multiple copies of the same post will not be tolerated. Post your question, comment, or complaint only once. There is no need to express yourself more than once. Duplicate posts will be deleted with little or no warning. 10. Posts should have descriptive subjects. Vague titles such as "Help!", "Why?", and the like may not get enough attention to the contents. 11. Do not divulge anyone's personal information in the forum, not even your own. This includes e-mail addresses, IP addresses, age, house address, and any other distinguishing information. Don´t use eMail addresses in your nick. 12. Signatures may be used as long as they are not offensive or sexually explicit. 13. Failure to show that you have read the forum rules may result in forum rules breach infraction points or warnings awarded against you which may later total up to an automatic temporary or permanent ban. Supplying system details is a prerequisite in most cases, particularly with connection or installation issues.  Ok Brandon, then, I'll ask, WHATS your question? Are you on an old computer or a new one? What specs do you have and what IS the problem with Limewire? What version of Limewire do you run etc? If ram is your problem, there are some free ram boosters out there that you can install to help speed up your computer. You can go to snapfiles.com freeware section and browse through their stuff, I know they have ram booters there too. Other than that, please try to provide us with as much detail or even a simple screenshot of the problem will do??? A Computer programmer I aint, but I know my way around Windows pretty well. |

| This here is to become the "popular" vote thread.......  As for his question; it has already been answered. There is no other forum dealing specifically with Gnutella/Limewire issues. As for question asked by him under a different screen name, he'll have to login with it and re-ask. That it isn't very smart to **** off the only place where help is available, he will have understood by now...... And now an advice for you BrandonL; if your post hasn't been replied to after 2 days, then get back here and post in the same thread something link " Anyone???". That will bring your thread back to the top of the new posts and sooner or later one of us will reply.....
