Ive been trying every 4 12 6 user with chat on, I cannot speak to anyone
Works on most all the others versions.
Dose the people know why that is

Chat is a good tool, If it worked, more people could use it to clean up those
Bad search resolts. When im browsing other peoples files and see Virus/malware files they dont even realise are being shared, I would tell them
what files are bad and to check them with A/V n Spy bot or whatever Prog they use. Not all act on it, but most reply with "Oh Thanks I had no idear"
There are more REAL Users than Abusers, so its a way to clear up the mess the scammers make. A little done by a lot has big resolts.
So dont vew the Chat prog as just for gossip, ITS A POWERFUL TOOL to start fighting back against the scammers.
CAN You chat to 4.12.6 users or not Add your findings to this list.

Has anybody heard anything from those remarkably wonderful Limewire people about a solution to this chat problem?

They have been made aware of the problem (btw not fixed in the new Beta either)

Hopefully in the 4.13 Final

BTW 4.13 is a beta version, so the next official version will be an even no. I believe they'll release "at least" another beta for the next official release.

There is one solusion! I could put 4.10.9 pro up for share for those who dont
like 4.12.6. if there is intrest, just shout me.

by many,Im sure.
Im not trying to dent LimeWires proffits by this offer, Just give back the option to chat, to those like me that find chat verry usfull.
If turning off chat is ment to get more people on to the forums,then it will fail.
The reason why not many come to the forums is because Half dont know what {Forum} is. let alone find them Hidden in the tab Help.
Why not put a clear tab with {See what others say about L/W} ok thats lame, Somthing catchy you get the drift.

PS. My chat on 4.10.9 works 95% if icon is present. {Not including 4.12.6.}

I agree it hasn't been working. That means when I press Chat no window appears at all. That's if I'm trying to reach a LW. I found it does work to reach Bearshare. So what's wrong with talking about some rare music you're sharing.
