These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum. These off-topic posts may impede the normal operation of the forum. Edit posts. Moderators will edit posts that are offensive or break any of the House Rules. Delete posts. If you see a post in the wrong forum or in violation of the House Rules, please contact a moderator via Private Message or the "Report this post to a moderator" link at the bottom of every post. Please do not respond directly to the member - a moderator will do what is required. 8. Any impersonation of a forum member in any mode of communication is strictly prohibited and will result in banning. 9. Multiple copies of the same post will not be tolerated. Post your question, comment, or complaint only once. There is no need to express yourself more than once. Duplicate posts will be deleted with little or no warning. 10. Posts should have descriptive subjects. Vague titles such as "Help!", "Why?", and the like may not get enough attention to the contents. 11. Do not divulge anyone's personal information in the forum, not even your own. This includes e-mail addresses, IP addresses, age, house address, and any other distinguishing information. | Now as far as I understand, Ghost Rider has not been released yet, either in the cinema or on DVD/video. In fact it's not due out in the US cinemas until 16th February. However, you expect to download a copy off the P2P network, i.e. you expected someone to steal or get a pirated copy then post it on the network for your benefit and risk the FBI (or some other law enforcement agency) kicking their door down. | mmmmm.....in this case its kinda allowed as it were, as the file has not been released in any form...not in the theaters, and there is no stolen rip floating around... this just proves what morons some people are and how they will stupidly try to acquire things that are obviously bogus... reminds me of the time I saw a crack for Wavelab 4 when v3 had just been released..the number of people who had it in their shares was laughable..

 my feelings have been crushed...  j/k... anyways, i didn't mean it in a bad way... I mean.. it's common sense that over half of videos & pics are porn.. I did a search on.. 'a band' hoping to get some results of them onstage.. [they do kickass concerts] and I got porn, it's happened a couple times... especially with music vids... It sucks, yeah lw should have a filter... (i understand it's too much to ask for...) So I just stick to mp3s now... I trully don't believe pervs are going to get an audio clip of a woman having an orgasm or some other sick ****....

| Topcat2006 If you are a parent then why is it you don't seem to know what you have done wrong? Or is it that you just lack basic understanding of what you are actually doing. 1) Limewire is a P2P application and, as such, should not be used by children under 16 (maybe even 18) unsupervised. 2) P2P applications let you share whatever file(s) a P2P user wants to share, no matter how perverted or disgusting. It’s sometimes like someone letting you glimpse the darkest recesses of their mind. 3) P2P users/members are from all corners of the world, meaning they (or should I say "we") are governed by different laws, customs and belief systems. And obviously, there are some things you will not want your children to see. 4) No one owns or governs the P2P/Gnuttella network and so allows every user freedoms that do not exist anywhere else. 5) Now, because those freedoms can be abused it is your duty as a parent to protect your children from what is out there. 6) Finally, as a parent you should not encourage your kids to obtain or buy stolen or pirated goods. As an aside, I, like most other forum members, do not need your infantile warnings, if you had warned of a "booby trapped file" then that would be a warning worth having. However, to say a file that "should not exist is really porn" is laughable and really has no intrinsic value. Your children need protection not the members of this forum. UK Bob |

| Since I found out about Bitzi today and am now it's No.1 fan, I thought I would mention that if, before downloading, you had right clicked the file, hit ADVANCED, LOOKUP FILE WITH BITZI, you would see that it is fake and porn. Bitzi has completely changed my LimeWire experience today! |
