Default Very weird v4.16.7 Library results

I upgraded to LimeWire v4.16.7. When I click the "Monitor" tab and check the box to "Show Incoming Searches", instead of titles or artists or similar information, now all I see are dozens of repeated words like:
ineptio
casopitant
duman
quamquam
2007
kurenai
binibini.

When I switch to the Library tab, everything looks fine under the "Hits" column, but of course, nothing matches the incoming searches.

What gives?

Tom

It sounds to me like you are acting as an ultrapeer. And thus receiving incoming searches from users not necessarily searching your files but simply passing through your LW. The advantage of being an ultrapeer is more connections, the disadvantage is a slight increase in traffic, and slight increase in computer memory use.

This might not necessarily the case that you are a UP, but it may be some of the search terms are linking to id3 tags and may only be partial word links.

Ultrapeers are who you connect through to reach the gnutella network. They also take up some of the search traffic. Their greater connections will also help them in their searches and possibly downloads also. Uploads may be partially affected however.

Got it. Next time I launch LimeWire, I'll take a look and see how I'm connected. Thanks much.

Okay, clicking the Connections tab says I'm just a leaf. As long as everything works, I guess.
