Default I'm getting a weird message from limewire and need someones help

The message says, "One or more necessary files appear to be invalid. This is generally caused by a corrupted installation. Please try downloading and installing Limewire again. If the problem persists, please visit Lime Wire » Official Website & Free Download, BitTorrent « and click the 'Support' link."

I intiallly downloaded and installed limewire but then removed limewire from my computer and this message pops up over and over even after I close it. I think it has something to do with Java script because the java icon is in the upper left hand corner. This also somehow messed up my icon display on the bottom right hand corner, all it shows is a bunch of arrows pointing left. I did a anti-virus scan with Norton but it didn't help the situation.
If someone can help me I would appreciate it. Thanks

The exact same thing is happening to me! I actually uninstalled Limewire last night as it downloaded a really harmful file. But that message also popped up on my computer with a big box of really technical looking stuff.
My icon bar in the right hand corner is messed up too and my anti-virus software isn't picking anything up.

Can anyone help?
