Question Download on but no actual progress

I have been using Limewire for long enuf now and have successfully downloaded a good collection.
However, there are occasions when certain movies that I have tried to download, after initial bit, ranging from a single digit %age to 20 odd %age points, make no further progress -- the progress %age remains stagnant even while the speed of the download shows good amount of data download.
This has happened in case of movies '* **** ** ********' -21%, * *******, ***** *** ****-6%, ***** -26%.. Infact in case of * **** ** ********, the download had continued long enuf, so I think, to enable downloading of twice the length !
Could some one tell me why the down load gets stalled..the down loads were started after checking wiht Bitzi.
I use Windows XP and use a broadband connection.
Thanks for your inputs.
Dinbdin
