Torrent (Is there a way to 'split' the torrent?)

When I download a torrent with multiple chapters using programs like Bittorrent I have the ability to only down the parts that I want. However with Limewire I have to download the whole torrent. Is there a way to 'split' the torrent?

No.

LW's not a good client to use for torrents. There's no record of share ratio, seems to be problems with continuing to seed completed torrents and other options (as you've found) are missing. I don't use private trackers, but I believe that LW has been banned by some private trackers.

Stick to a dedicated torrent client:)

LW is banned at two private trackers I'm aware of. And some other forum members are aware of LW being banned at others. There's even more fundamental problems with LW when used for torrents. It does not report properly to the tracker for a start. ;)
