These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum. These off-topic posts may impede the normal operation of the forum. Edit posts. Moderators will edit posts that are offensive or break any of the House Rules. Delete posts. Posts that cannot be edited to comply with the House Rules will be deleted. Restrict members. This is one of the last punishments before a member is banned. If you see a post in the wrong forum or in violation of the House Rules, please contact a moderator via Private Message or the "Report this post to a moderator" link at the bottom of every post. Please do not respond directly to the member - a moderator will do what is required. 8. Any impersonation of a forum member in any mode of communication is strictly prohibited and will result in banning. 9. Multiple copies of the same post will not be tolerated. Post your question, comment, or complaint only once. There is no need to express yourself more than once. Duplicate posts will be deleted with little or no warning. 10. Posts should have descriptive subjects. Vague titles such as "Help!", "Why?", and the like may not get enough attention to the contents. 11. Do not divulge anyone's personal information in the forum, not even your own. This includes e-mail addresses, IP addresses, age, house address, and any other distinguishing information. Don´t use eMail addresses in your nick. 12. Signatures may be used as long as they are not offensive or sexually explicit. 13. Failure to show that you have read the forum rules may result in forum rules breach infraction points or warnings awarded against you which may later total up to an automatic temporary or permanent ban. Supplying system details is a prerequisite in most cases, particularly with connection or installation issues. If you want to make sure you are finding the most files and have better downloads you should switch to Shareaza. Shareaza has G2 (Gnutella2) which has Global Search, among other advanced features. Bearshare, Limewire, and the rest of the Gnutella 1 clients do not have these advanced features. They only search a small fraction of the overall Gnutella network. You can also use www.sharelive.com to find verified files with Shareaza. Sharelive is a database of magnet links for verified files on G2. Ever download a file only to find out it's something else? | Shareaza is way better, and comes without the price tag. Bearshare, plain and simple just doesn't work in our current time. It claims to be number one, when it has features which have already been implemented for over a year in some cases. Bearshare can somewhat be compared to Morpheus, a company that deciets its users by claiming to be the best. Shareaza has all of the latest features, and will implement the newest technologies to make Gnutella a better place. When I say Gnutella, I mean G2 because G1 is pretty much done for. G2 is G1 reincarnated, but with a bigger ambition and goal set out. G2 will revolutionize the P2P technology. All who don't follow will cease to exist in the Gnutella environment.  Download Shareaza

Check out his latest four posts. They're easy to spot, they all have the red "download Shareaza" icon on them. --- Users of older versions must upgrade!! | BearShare sucks! LimeWire sucks! they are both a complete rip-off! the free version of kazza is way better and kazza has more selections of everything. And half the time none of the things want downloads. And when you do ask for an artist you get like 99 of the same songs! I want my money back! We should report these people for fraud! I bet this isn't even legal-like they said it was!:mad: :mad: |

I have been downloading and sharing in Bear Share Pro and tried Limewire last night for the first time. My observation is that on Bear Share downloads are faster and there are alot more to choose from for instance George Strait had over a thousand different songs listed and on Limewire only in the 200's? And the time it took to download was much much faster on Bear Share! So use the one that suits you best!
