Hi Cootmaster have a look at BearShare has been sabotaged.

I'm nor a BS user, due to Mac addiction but I gather BS have sold out to the RIAA and you need an older version. I think that thread explains it all. Aaron Walkhouse will tell you more if you need

I found lite here http://www.filehippo.com/download_bearshare_lite/ but I would not recommend using the new BS's. BS Lite 5.2 link still works but ... Use the link OAH left instead.

Yes it was. But filehippo can be trusted. The BearShare Lite 5.2.5 link works. I presume that is still 5.2.5 but as suggested, you're better off with the one from AaronWalkhouse's thread. From memory anything from 5.2 or above is not worthwhile & can be controlled.
