Why does it say diasconected no files available and tbe searsch button is not lit the stop botton is lit when i want to search for a song?

I am brand new to limewire, and am having the same problem, where the SEARCH button is grayed out. Have you figured out what was wrong?

umm, tarndog, this is the BearShare forum. You can edit your post to get at the delete button and repost in the appropriate LW forum.
(btw--the search button will be greyed out if you aren't connected)

I also have the same problem, the search button is greyed out. I can't figure out how to get connected. I go up to the file tab, and down to connect, and it still says I'm dissconnected. What should I do?

I am having search problems again also. I noticed the bars at the bottom left corner of my screen stay red and will not fully charge to light blue, and that is the only time I am able to get search results.
