ShareAza as Ultrapeer on Gnutella Network

Whilst using Phex on 2012-11-22 (last month), I noticed a ShareAza host as an ultrapeer. I had no idea Shareaza had upgraded their gnutella (G1) abilities to be able to achieve this.

If they are acting as ultrapeer for G1 & G2, it would potentially mean a heck of a lot of connections, particularly if they are torrenting at the same time.

This must have been somebody who compiled Shareaza himself. The old UP code is still in there, only accessing it has been disabled.

I think it would only take a few minutes to reenable the GUI access and uncomment the few lines of code necessary for Shareaza to handle (outdated) UP support anew...

Coincidentally I found another one, later version ShareAza. This time via BearShare.
BTW do you know anything about SHAtella?

Actually I've never heard of it. If it is indeed a mod, there hasn't been posted any information on the Shareaza forums so far. (Some few mods are announced in there.)
