Can I move downloaded files?

I use several torrent clients Shareaza, uTorrent, and Vuse. All except Shareaza allow me to move the completed download within the program so as not to break seeding.

How can I do this from within Shareaza?

Basically, all downloads are dumped into my C:\foo\Downloads folder.
I would like to move specific downloads to permanent locations other than C:\foo\Downloads.

You can move all files of a specific type to a folder by using the categories toolbar just above the downloads window. You might need to have Power Mode turned on to see the toolbar.

thanks smokex, but that's not really helpful for my case.

I have my own categorys which are unrelated to file type.
For instance maybe I hove a folder called "The Flintstones".
in that folder I want to put BamBam.MKV, and PebblesTurns18.ISO

I want to classify (and move) my downloads into subfolders which are meaningful to me.

I really hope the Shareaza add this feature. I may need to stop using it otherwise.
Both uTorrent and Vuse support this feature.
For instance I can move all of my Flintstones releted content (independent of file type) into my "The Flintstones" file folder and have the system continue seeding just as though nothing happened.

Anywho, thanks for the reply.

(Not an answer to your problem!) Yes it is quite easy with Vuse. I move both the torrent & data files quite often to different drives & sub-folders that relate to the topic of the torrent. Vuse even gives the option of creating a sub-folder during the moving phase. Sometimes I move torrents due to disk space lol. (I don't like seeing drives more than 80% full.) I keep private & public torrents totally separate. I use Transmission for private torrents which gives an option to download specific torrent site torrents to separate folders & list them separately in the program (different panes labelled with the site name) & color coded. When I add a torrent, Transmission automatically knows which torrent site it is & acts accordingly.
