Shareaza Problem: "Can't Move"

So yeah, I just completed downloading this 5gb anime. But the problem is it won't move the file to the folder. It's frustrating coz it took lots of time downloading it. I tried resuming it but nothing happens. Any solutions, guys?

Thanks a lot.

first of all, it looks like you have done torrent. couple of thing to check,

1. have you got 5GB free space on completed file folder? with current Shareaza's code, if you have downloaded torrent which has multiple files inside, then you need freespace exactry same size as the downloaded torrent.
2. have you got folder in completed file folder with exactry same name as your torrent?
e.g. if you have downloaded something like "Shareaza p2p package" then if you have folder with name "Shareaza p2p package" in completed filde folder, it just can not move the file to complete folder.

check on these. also look at the wiki at https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/shareaza/

Also check length of path and filename, in Windows there is a 255 max character limit
so trying to move a file with a with very long directory and file name to C:\Documents and Settings\User Name XYZ\My Documents\Shareaza Downloads, you could reach that limit.
Change default save directory in download setting to something short like C:\XYZ then try to move file. I have only hit this problem with a large Bit Torrent download that had many files in it and the move extracts the files.

Hey lol, the last post in this discussion has been made on August 16th, 2006. I don't think that guy is still waiting for a reply. :D
