 Hving Problems Hi I am having prolems connecting. Let me tell you what i have done so far. I went onto the web sight and got all the directions a few weeks ago on how to disable the firewall on XP. I had everything working just fine. When I got up this morning my computer must have restarted because I had to start my screen again. I just tried to get on mt limewire and it is telling my that a firewall is bloking it. So i tried again to disable the firewall. The only prob is that every time i put the Ip code in it does not take. I have went back in after doing this and it was right back to the same before i statred. I really need someones help!!!!! | @artee First of all, this is the Shareaza forum, not the LW....... If you tied to uninstall LW using the Control panel>Remove Program option you will need to reinstall LW and then use the START>Programs>Limewire>Uninstall option. If your system doesn't allow you to reinstall LW then you'll need to uninstall the rest of the program using the CCleaner: http://www.ccleaner.com/download/  @smiles9 You actually do not have to disable the firewall, you should rarther configure it to allow your P2P client access to the network. Read here on how to configurate your firewall (connection problems -click first): Connections Problems? Look here BEFORE posting!
