Newbie needs help - want to stop hashing notification pop up in Shareaza - Anyone help?

Hi gang,

I can't seem to work out how to turn off the ' Shareaza is creating hashes.....' message that pops up when a download is done.

It is annoying when i am watching a movie and this message interupts the screen.

Is there any way to turn off this on screen message?

Appreciate any help or advice.

I have the latest version of Shareaza.

Hi,

found an answer to the pop up message problem and works perfectly so thought i would share with you guys.........

yes, you can, but first you need to put shareaza in power mode(select "power mode" from the view menu) . Then go to Tools > shareaza settings > advanced find the setting "Library.HashWindow", select it, and set the value to "0". Click ok to apply the new setting. You can change back to normal mode again if you wish by selecting "Normal Mode" from the view menu.

That's true, BUT it is much more easy to simply click on the messages (I can't recall whether you have to right or left click on them, but once you click on them, they disappear...)

;)
