IS Limewire legal

I want to know if using Limewire legal?

et voilà April 21st, 2005 04:21 AM

You should have done a forum search. P2P programs are legal, but using them to download copyrighted material is illegal in a lot of countries including america and europe.

Interesting, now you start removing random posts by me that honestly contained nothing that could be understood as offense. Just to clear things up.

The UK is part of the EU:

They still have British Pound as currency though:

This information is easily found - not just at Wikipedia. There's really no reason whatsoever to speculate about such things if you don't know.

How fascinating... especially for me as I have lived in the disUK for many, many years... even had problems with decimilisation when that happened... an event that I feel certain predates you.

btw, I have never deleted anything from any of your posts !
I mean, why the hell would I want to take away any of the fun for Ming the Moderator ????????

Word sure does seem to be out about you, though... sooooo, I'll just keep a sharper lookout for you, OK ?

is limewire legal?

it's double edged sword. i suspect a minority of the people here swap legal files (non RIAA/MPAA), however, i strongly believe many users hide behind the "no piracy" facade by downloading infected software, stealing music, etc.

how do i know? only software is infected with viruses, or you downloaded a virus disguised as a innocent file.

however, many people have stated that the record company makes money off of the artist's album, and the artist makes money off of concerts/merchandise, so buy the album and go see the show.
