the External Hard Drive
 

When I enter my desktop icons on the External Hard Drive, I never manage to get them in alphabetical order.
For example, the External Hard Drive jumps from those icons whose name begins with "C" to those beginning with the letter "H", only to go back to those icons beginning with the letter "C", which are now not put in their rightful alphabetical place.


Have tried arranging the icons in alphabetical order on the Drive by going to VIEW > GROUP BY NAME , but still no luck.


Can anyone help, please?
