Hi jillybean23

If Your using windows xp you can do a system restore to a time before you deleted the files, if you haven't turned of restore for that drive your files are on

on the first screen when you open system restore just tick restore my computer to an earlier time the press next it will ask you to select a date do so then click next and the computer will restore it's self back to that time.

No personal files added to the computer in the meantime will be deleted

hope this helps

Sgt

Unhappy Deleted Songs!

I tried the SYSTEM RESTORE thing and the only thing I saw was that the box that said turn off was NOT checked and it said to move the slider to the right or left to decrease or increase the amount of disc space for system restore then i clicked apply and then ok but nothing happened no questions no nothing why??

Using restoration just search for the format your files are in eg. .mp3

If you have more than one drive it's better to copy the files than it finds to another drive than the one they were on originally.

This is so restoration does not overwrite the files by accident.

Limewire 4.12.3 / Newest Phex / Newest Azureus

I recommend using either an old Limewire version without BitTorrent support or Phex for Gnutella, Azureus is BitTorrent. None of this Limewire Gnutellatorrent hybrid crap.

Try the file recovery utility "Restoration", there's a link to it in KathW's post (#8). Or click on the link below for more file recovery advice
