looking for good mp3 "jukebox" Looking for tips on good freeware/shareware or low cost jukebox software that doesn't abuse system resources. Stupid RealJukebox is a resource hog. Thanks :-) |
WinAmp ! |
Yep Winamp! Use the new Winamp3 beta version for cross fading, great for parties! |
Thank you! Yes! WinAmp is a zillion times better than RealJukebox. I think those folks at Real are taking programming lessons from Microsoft or something. BTW...is there something similar for the Mac? I'm getting a friend setup who's on the Mac platform. Thanks :-) |
Winamp also runs on Mac yet, Linux soon. :) |
Audion is also very good (www.panic.com) for Mac's. It's shareware after a trial period, but actually worth the cost. One of the few shareware programs I have coughed up the dough for. I haven't checked out the new Mac version of WinAmp yet, but it's definitely better than any other Mac mp3 player I've seen (MACAST, GreyAmp, RealJukebox, etc). |
Go with music match. The free version is great, and the pay version is even better |
The ultimate Jukebox |
