What is Queued?

Everytime I try to download something the status says its Queued and it doesn't download. What is Queued? What's wrong?

mean it need to search more source to get the file

It can also mean that your available download slots are set at zero in options or preferences> downloading> Basic??? ( I forget and the programme is not open)

And more :D Queued = LW is too busy to handle those particular downlds. LW will automatically queue all files after you open it. It will one by one try to connect to each one on its own. However, if you downld too many files simultaneously, then LW will queue them. Also, if you use the Resume/Find Sources function on too many files, then this will also queue the files but for much, much longer. This function has side FX to be wary of using it. Don't use it on too many files at one time, just one to a few.
Best to leave LW to settle for 5-15+ mins before downlding new material. I often open LW & after 10-40 mins incomplete files start to continue downlding despite I've neither done a search or resumed them, just opened LW & left it in the background.

Some useful tips: See the following link & follow “ALL” the off-shoot links to find hints & extra skills to help solve your problem: To continue files downlding (click on link)

BTW if LW remains queued for about an hour or longer & you haven't done any searches, downlded new material or resumed files, etc. then close it & delete LW's preferences: Point #2 in Fixes for Limewire (sample at bottom of page.)

And add something to LOTR post, This is the reason why we must avoid this problem with Gnet. IF Queuing never invent, then the entire Gnet will bottlenecked.

This "bottleneck" problem happened to WinMX server. (been trying to find out which network they using, maybe FastTrack?) Too many download, too many connection cause those problem. If you trying to get a file from WinMX network, then good luck with that cuz it almost impossible to get it because the entire network is bottlenecked

Yeah someone told me "the" problem with winmx is queuing for hrs to get a single file. My own research seemed to back this suggestion up. Other than that, apparently got some good content on winmx, if you're patient enough I guess.

.......... i already wait for 3 hour and all file is still queued. now WinMx is shut down, but WinMX said they will come back soon.

So if they are planning to come back, they need to design how much connection to the host to prevent the bottleneck the network.

Try increasing your upload slots and download slots by say two and see if that helps,if you are not allowing enough uploads, you will have problems with torrents.
