posting to get rid of annoying, persistent "you haven't posted" note

Our records indicate that you have never posted to our site before! Why not make your first post today by saying hello to our community in our Introductions forum.

This should go away after a few pages instead of lingering and lingering.

I clicked around trying to find the Introductions topic and could not. The link to the Introductions topic should be placed in the paragraph that insists we post something even if it's nonsense.

I paid for Pro because I believed the advertising hype on the download page that made it sound like I'd get faster downloads and more hosts to search. That is not true - I've had it up for an hour and I still have only 1 little green bar, even though I checked my speed and I've got 9mb download. I consistently have about 10 hosts listed, no more. And I can't get any search results.

So far I'm not impressed with Limewire or your forum. I'm sorry I wasted $13us on this instead of just using the freebie...

this forum is not in any way officially associated with limewire...any particular reason (besides the annoying prompt) you don't like this place?
