Probs with 2.5.5
 

Have come across 3 problems with my copy of 2.5.5

1) when starting up Limewire, no matter how many concurrent connections I have set up in options, it only connects to 3 servers.

2) When a large file has been downloaded (i.e. AVI files) durring the process of copying from the incomplete folder to the shared folder, Limewire disconnects from all servers, and will not connect to any server until the copy process is complete. Then problem 1 kicks in again, only reconnecting to 3 servers.

3) Limewire 2.5.5 now seems to "check" files for problems as they are downloaded, and then pops up a message stating that it detected a problem with the data, do I want to continue. Twice now, I have lost a download that was almost complete because I had left it unattended while downloading a file, because when I finally saw the msg, the user that I was downloading from was no longer available. Even worse, is that every file that I get that message on, works just fine even tho limewire thought there was a data error.

1) is intended.

2) could happen if your CPU is to weak to cope with hashing the newly downloaded file and being connected at the same time.

3) in this case simply click continue and check afterwards if the file you downloaded is alright.
