These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum. These off-topic posts may impede the normal operation of the forum. Edit posts. Moderators will edit posts that are offensive or break any of the House Rules. Delete posts. Posts that cannot be edited to comply with the House Rules will be deleted. Restrict members. This is one of the last punishments before a member is banned. If you see a post in the wrong forum or in violation of the House Rules, please contact a moderator via Private Message or the "Report this post to a moderator" link at the bottom of every post. Please do not respond directly to the member - a moderator will do what is required. 8. Any impersonation of a forum member in any mode of communication is strictly prohibited and will result in banning. 9. Multiple copies of the same post will not be tolerated.  One or More necessary files appear to be invalid. "corrupted installation" I recieved this error every few minutes, when i turn my computer off and turn it back on, this always appears. Before this was happening, i closed limwire, but a few minutes after i exited to program, it started back up again. I did, msconfig, in my run; in start; and did basic start up, and yet it still started back up. Now i think that it was a virus, but i did my 2! Anti Virus's but they didn't pick up anything. Now i come for your help; any comments on what i should do? (besides throwing my comp against the wall) By The way, this was the error i was receiving...  You probably have a worm. Try the easy fix mentioned at the end of point 2 here, it's worked for a lot of people. WARNING: Viruses on the network you should be aware of If that doesn't help, there are links to help sites in point 5 of that thread. Always make sure that you're using a good AV program. Keep it updated & use it to scan files that you've downloaded before you open them.
