I have a Windows XP and I hear alot about LM.....so last night I d/l'ed it installed it (latest version). Then I click on it to open it and finish choosing my options when all of a sudden it just closes (so i tryed to be as fast as i could choosing the options). Then when I get it to open I get an error about it not connecting to one of the things. Then I also get an error about something else and when I put my mouse over the LM and errors my comp restarts automatically. Please someone help me>

Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

Then uninstall Limewire using the uninstaller which is found in start > all programs > limewire...then re-install it using the offline installer...To find the offline installer, use the link below > cancel the installer window when it pop's up and then select the offline installer link...
