Java runtime ( Error - Java has encountered a problem and needs to close)

I cannot get Java to install. I have tried to install it with LW and tried to install it on it's own and all I get is the Error:

Java(TM) Platform SE binary has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
