If you have not figured this out for yourself yet:

1. You can bookmark that page using your web browser.
2. Since your topic is titled Desktop icon, then what you can do is use your browser's Copy Link option and paste it into a text document saved onto your desktop with your preferred title. Make sure you save it as a normal/plain text document and not a marked-up format document.
There are multiple other steps and I am not sure you are up to doing it which is why I did not answer your question last year. There were other reasons not related to you.

The format within the text document needs to be like this:
Code:
[InternetShortcut]
URL=http://www.
So make sure the web address has the . URL= . before the web address. No white space between the = and http.
Save the text document.

Rename the file extension from . .txt . to . .url
If your Windows operating system will not allow you then you will need to change settings to "show" file extensions.

For this forum thread section the example would be:
Code:
[InternetShortcut]
URL=https://www.gnutellaforums.com/tips-tricks/

I have provided an example in a zip file attached to this post below. (edited in->) I recommend you unzip the file, right-click the now unzipped file and choose open. This then becomes a shortcut to this forum section. Likewise you can do the same thing for any web page you wish to frequently return to at any point in time, simply by following the above instructions.
