Icon in Pictures Folder won't open with Photoshop because of a program error.

I am told that Photoshop cannot open one of my icons in the Pictures folder because of as program error.

But, may I ask: 1) What is this program error?
2) How to correct it?

It would appear that Photoshop CC2019 does not provide any information to enable me to print the icon in question.

Please help me, asIi am terribly frustrated after a lot of vain attempts to find a solution.

Thank you very much in advance.

Would it be possible for you to upload the icon to a 3rd party host site for me to download and check the file?
Examples include Google Drive, OneDrive or DropBox. Then simply send me the shared URL in a private message.

Windows icon concept is notably different to the MacOS version in respect of how it works. Micro$oft were taken to court by Apple over copying the icon concept (a person who worked upon introducing icons to Windows was an ex Apple employee.) But M$'s icon version works in a somewhat clumsy and unnecessarily complicated manner.

Thanks for prompt reply, but how do I enter the photo from One Drive as an attachment to this private reply?

Please excuse my ignorance.

Thanks again.

You cannot do it from this forum. From your own computer system to One Drive.

Sorry, cannot manage. Can I copy the image and send it to you via a private message, please? But how to do that if not through the Aid to Digital Photography? Have dragged the image from OneDrive to the Desktop, but what's the next step?

Renewed thanks for kindness and patience.

I've personally never used OneDrive. But I presume it is similar to other similar storage facilities. At OneDrive right click the file and ensure it is being publicly shared and then get the URL (web address) for sharing the file. Copy-paste this url into a private message to me.

A quick google found this https://support.office.com/en-us/art...0-a82024800c07
