Audio Books too large for one CD

Hello-
I would like to know if anyone can tell me how to divide audio files to burn CD's. Audio Books are too large to fit on one CD.

Thanks in advance

I don't know how many apps can play Audio Books, but apparently iTunes can. You could export it as a WAV/AIFF file & use an audio editor to cut it down in size, or alternatively u could export it as an mp3 & put them together on an mp3 disk to play on mp3 player/computer/dvd player.

Thanks for the info. What I'm trying to do is burn CD's so I can listen to them in my car. Unfortunately a lot of Audio Books are huge and need about 6 CD's to fit the whole thing.
Do you have any suggestions for an editor program?:)

I'm not a windows person so I can't speak from experience on pc. But may I suggest you look at these threads Free ones & forum & also these free editors. I don't know how good they are. But there's plenty & there will be a reasonable one that suits you for your purposes.

I download them at limewire.... enter the author's name, i.e. Stephen King, and they will come up.

Books Ain't Bad For You !

I am afraid that I may be one of the resident Audio Books (or Audio eBook) experts around here...

I am very short time now... sorry... But, if you need to reduce the size of Audio eBooks, please click on the CDex1.51 link in my sig below...

It's FREE...

Download and install the software -To A Folder You Have FIRST Created in Program Files - and then run it.... you can convert almost any file type to any other and, most important, you will be able to reduce the 'size' of Audio eBook files - .mp3s normally -

For speech-type audio you do not need a very high bandwidth...

Try converting your existing Audio eBooks to 32k files...

Loads more later regarding eBooks of all types...

The CDex - 1.51 link in my signature should take you directly to the CDex 1.51 download page...

You should see, a short distance below the top of the page,

CDex 1.51 (no beta available):
[ .zip(bundle) ] [ .exe (installer) ]

Download the .zip(bundle) version unless you do not have the Winzip Program installed on your computer.

Save the file to a suitable folder...
Do NOT Open the file in the process of completing the downloading...

Manually create a CDex folder in your Program Files directory...

After downloading, install the CDex program manually by unzipping the file to your previously created CDex folder.
