Some info on making karaoke CD-G's

First of all you have to have a special burner to burn CD-G's , and there are only a select few out there. Here is a website that gives you the info on what burners will work. The Plextor brand is the best one of all the brands there. Plus this site has the software you need to burn the CD-G's also. http://www.goldenhawk.com Also from what I understand you have to have another kind of special software to convert CDG-S's from MP3 etc to .bin files. Hope this helps

CDG burners

I have a Plextor CDG burner, that I purchased a year ago and I am just now getting it installed. I spoke with technical support at Plextor and he said, since I have a brand new HP Pavilion desktop computer (only 6 weeks old) that it already has burning capabilities and I wouldn't need to purchase any software. He said I would need to install a Serial ATA controller (SATA). Does anyone know how to explain this to me in simple laymans terms. Or where I am suppose to get this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, sbarnhill
