Song Lyrics

I have searched and found nothing. Can someone tell me a program that will take a song and you will be able to take out the lyrics kind of like a soundtrack?

EvilLyrics would be your best bet just play the song in your media player and it will get you the lyrics works 110% of the time

Well that's almost what I mean. I want to be able to play a song and when its all said and done to record all i record is the background music not vocals.

wait, so you can make it so you can just hear the background music and not the words??? how????

Right off the bat try searching for the kareoke version.

DogMeat is right (love that name: DogMeat) you can buy kareoke versions of most popular songs or, and this is what a friend of mine does, you can get a kareoke company to record a backing track for you onto a CD.

I'll give him a call now and get the web-site he gets his kareoke CDs and backing tracks from.

Hold tight.

PS. Got my friend on his mobile, he is out shopping and will not be able to get home before 5.30pm GMT. I'll get the info then.

Until ukbobboy01 returns, there were some posts on the forum which discussed this but they've temporarily gone missing. :D What I can tell you is that there are some out there being shared. Search for cdg or cd+g. I had good results when searching these terms some time back. Other Karaoke formats include: .MID+.TXK, .MID, .CRT, and .ST3
A little more info here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...893#post122893
BTW cdg is the extension so you might want to search .cdg

Havenlamar (and anyone else interested in kareoke)

My friend uses the following internet company to get his kareoke CDs and backing tracks: http://www.selectatrack.com

At £2.00 a track and free delivery anywhere in the world you really can't go wrong, plus you get to listen to a 30 second clip of the song before you purchase it.

Now, where did I put MY kareoke machine?
