bearshare and limewire

limewire is more dangerous than bearshare but bearshare v6 you can remove the spyware easily by downloading spybot search and destroy just scan then fix

This version of BearShare has no spyware or even adware, and unlike version 6 isn't tied down to a limited collection of DRM-laden "products".

I can't figure out why limewire will not play music. It downloads songs but will not play. I have even uninstalked and reinstalled limewire. what can I do?

Sure, it will automatically hold back just enough to keep you running full tilt without crashing.

BearShare uses Windows Media Player components for it's player so it should usually
work without a hitch. You can also choose to use your usual favourite players instead.

Fuelmandan, I could only get Limewire to play one song at a time even though I right clicked and then on "launch all". I copied all the songs to Win. Media Player and now I can have them all play. :xirokrotima:

I hated Bearshare, but I love Limewire. I could get more songs faster with Limewire. Now Bearshare is on my laptop and I'm having trouble getting it to go away. :(

AaronWalkhouse December 27th, 2007 10:25 PM

What do you mean by "go away" and what version of BearShare did you try?

Joe the Porsche December 27th, 2007 10:43 PM

I'm not sure of what version it was. Sorry, it's not bear share that won't go away it's something called Bear Flix? It has the bear share icon beside it though and when i go to add or remove programs and tell it to remove it, it says could not open install.log file. Whatever that means, that isn't really the reason I dislike Bear Share though. I just find Limewire easier and faster to use. I've been using Limewire for, jeez, around 3 years now and I haven't really found anything wrong with it.
