There's a point-to-point chat too (which is still working) but the odds of catching somebody at
their keyboard is pretty small.

If one compares the enormous benefits of using the 5.x.x series of BearShare to the 'loss' of chat, I think that the chat 'chit' is a REALLY small loss !!!!!!!

Use something else for chat.
