Connection problems

I upgraded to PRO...The only benefit is the lack of ads, but I still cannot connect on a regular basis. I can ocassionally set up to download five tunes, but during the donwload session I find I am advised "Unconnected/No files available"
How can I connect when I have spent as often as 10 minutes continually trying to click on connect, to no availa?
Please note, I am a computer USER, not a tech. I don't understand all the references to various techniques, but would simply like to know how to log on and stay logged on. Thanx if anyone can help---==ROSS==
