help please

for a week, i haven't got a connection, what is wrong? actually we had the version 4.10 in the very beginning then we shifted to 4.12.3. fter installing the new version a message always pops up saying that my machine has no active internet connection then after few days that message is no longer encountered but when i am trying to search there were no results found. help please
