BS Crashing?

As they say, this is new. I've resumed running BS as my primary P2P software, now that Cox has stopped doing the reset packet attacks (thanks to the recent Comcast decision, no doubt).

A refresher, as it were: BS 5.1.0b25, running on XP Professional w/ Peer Guardian also running. This is a dedicated machine - 2gb ram, fast processor, 640gb storage. Sharing approx 34,000 files on a 2mbit (up) connection.

It is not unusual for BS to run without fail for a week or ten days at a time. Of late, it will run for a day or two, then I'll come in to find a little box on the screen saying "This License has Expired", which is the same thing it says if you try to boot the beta without BearStart.

I've checked the event viewer, and saw nothing too suspicious (TCPIP overload on occasion, but that just generates a warning). It is like BS is crashing, then trying to restart itself, without the benefit of BearStart rigging the date.

Anyone else run into BS doing this? I sort of has me baffled.

Cheers,

Nick
