in general it is verboten to discuss file names...sometimes its allowed, but rarely..

its safest to just use veiled statements...i.e. I just downloaded a video of a movie that is currently in theaters and I'm very happy about it all...

is there a place that we can discuss download?

i guess what im asking.. is there a way to make/fill request?

I just reformatted my computer and have been away from the "bearshare forums" and would like know the newest version that would work my windows 7 ultimate 32bit(not genuine lol) any help would be appreciated.

Download the installer and run the installer with this permission "run as administrator" and before you run BearShare do the same to desktop icon and try to add compartible mode for XP as well...Remember the real BearShare was coded for XP and not for Vista or Win7...But if you use compartible mod for XP it should be able to run even on Win7...If the first installer does not work for you try this one here:

The first bearshare link works but it sets the date back to 05 and doesn't change it. I tried the Using the xp compatibillty mode but didn't work. I also can't use windows virtual xp machine due to me not being geniune on win7.
Will try the 2nd link soon.

You can try the first link again as well...I have made two new installers, one for XP and one for Vista and Win7.I have made few changes to the BSLoader which should make it more Vista and Win7 friendly...Plus check your PM too lol! I guess this is why i still keep my old XP pc too, and I have no problem with run the old Bear in full speed and trottle...
