i went to bearshare and my WOT (Web of trust ) marked it RED
and blocks it LOL

on my firefox i got Web of trust
which marks bearshare red and blocked the site limewire had no blocking but if yoy go to download its asking for money

uh huh....
well LW is obviously focusing on selling their product. they still have the free version AFAIK... current versions of BearShare are for all intensive purposes bogus, so I can see why an application would block their website... Current versions of Shareaza are also bogus... its best to use older versions of both BS and 'raza...

theres the red pro button and the little get free url which activates the download then i see the PRO cost taken over what i meen is Quote:

That's right... if you don't want to pay for Pro you click the 'get basic' link.
LW haven't been taken over by anybody  The option to either buy Pro or download basic for free has been around for many years. Last edited by birdy; February 3rd, 2010 at 02:48 AM. Reason: Wrote 'button' rather than 'link' originally... might confuse people!!
