Making icons in Windows 8

How to make an icon on desktop for a bookmark in Firefox in Windows 8 plse?

I'm not a Windows wiz but did a test and it worked. So here is how I did it. I bookmarked the page into the Bookmarks menu. I went to the Bookmarks menu and dragged the icon of the bookmark to the Desktop. :)
