Gmail

Is there a way in G-mail to send one and the same message as a blind copy to all my contacts without having to type each and every single name and every email address in the space where email addresses are usually entered plse?

Thank you very much.

Joe

Someone else would be better to answer this as I rarely use gmail.
Normally contacts can be initialed using abbreviations (a 'short-name') such as a first or last name or even a nickname in your address book. Just typing in those abbreviations should link them to the address book email address.

In my browser if I type in the first one or two letters of the 'short-name', then the browser will suggest which short-name (email address) I wish to enter with a drop-down menu of short-names so I click the suggested short-name. That makes it oh so quick to send an email to multiple persons in your address-book. You may need to edit your contacts list (address book) to give them a short-name.

Many thks for your reply which, sorry to say, did not work, maybe because of my lack of
expertise in computer navigation.

However, you will be pleased to know that I have managed to find a solution after long and tiring hours of trial and error.

In short, the method consists of the following procedure:

1. Select COMPOSE in G-mail.
2. Leave the TO field blank.
3. Click ADD bcc
4. Enter all the recipients' email addresses in the bcc field.
5. Click SEND

With kind regards and my thks as always.

Joe
